Stephanie Lynn Mitchell is the President of I Am Light Legacy and a retired U.S. Army Staff Sergeant with over 25 years of experience in Human Resources Management and organizational leadership. She is the founder of Inspiring2BMore, LLC, an organization focused on mentorship, leadership development, and community recognition.
Stephanie holds an MBA in Human Resources Management and is a passionate advocate for equity, service, and empowerment. In 2022, she was inducted into the U.S. Army Women’s Foundation Hall of Fame for her advocacy of the historic 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion.
She is the author of From Veteran to Visionary and established the Mitchell Family Endowed Scholarship at the University of Maryland to support veteran students. As President, she leads the organization with a focus on legacy-building, service, and storytelling that inspires leadership and resilience.
